Maddie Ziegler is breaking away from her “Dance Moms” teammates to star alongside Sia on ABC's “Dancing with the Stars” Tuesday night, the network has confirmed. The 11-year-old reality-TV star will reportedly perform the dance made famous by the “Chandelier” music video live alongside the award-winning singer on the series’ live results show Sept. 23 between 8 and 9 p.m. EDT. The latest episode of “Dance Moms,” also starring Maddie, will follow at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.

With less than two days until show time, Maddie has been busy prepping for her live performance. “Had a great day at rehearsal #dwts,” the young “Dance Moms” star posted to Instagram Monday alongside an image of her posing next to her fellow dancer, "DWTS" professional Allison Holker. Maddie’s longtime coach and “Dance Moms” co-star Abby Lee Miller has also been touting the upcoming episode. “I am SO excited to let you know that @madisonziegler1313 will be performing to #Sia with @allisonhoker this Tuesday on #DWTS!” Miller, 48, said on Instagram Monday.

The cast of “DWTS” has been open in welcoming the young dancer to the series. “Here’s a picture of @madisonziegler1313 and I today at rehearsal,” Season 19 contestant Alfonso Ribeiro posted to Instagram Sunday. “Catch me and @madisonziegler1313 performing #chandelier,” Holker said Monday.

This latest performance will be the third time she has danced the music video number on cable television. Following the debut of the “Chandelier” music video in May, Maddie appeared with Sia on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to recreate the chart-topping piece. In July, she taught talk-show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel the dance in a skit for his late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The “Chandelier” video, currently at 190 million views and counting on Sia's VEVO channel, was nominated for several MTV Video Music Awards last month. While the number didn't walk away with the Video of the Year, Maddie and Miller were both present to see the video win the award for best choreography.

Maddie first made a cameo appearance on “Dancing with the Stars” in May in support of Miller’s highly controversial guest judging spot. “She’s being actually pretty nice,” Maddie told host Erin Andrews of her teacher’s appearance on the series. “I thought she was going to be a little bit ruder.”
