Last spring, before Meghan Markle became an official member of the British royal family by marrying Prince Harry, a comment that Meghan would age more gracefully than Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was published.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine last April, Stuart Miles, a leading aging expert in the UK, said it was clear both Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex, and Catherine were dedicated to skincare.

“Kate and Meghan have grown up in an era where girls were taught at an early age to look after their skin by taking regular facials and protecting it from the elements with SPF and makeup. It shows - they both have beautiful complexions which are dewy and youthful,” he said.

Miles said Kate used rosehip oil while Meghan often used a primer rather than a foundation for a “dewy look.”

However, he did note that it appeared Meghan would age more gracefully compared to her sister-in-law Kate due to her “amazing skin.”

"She has the most amazing skin which will age really well,” Miles said. “It has natural oils and a natural olive tone which will provide protection but also keep her looking glowing.”

While he complimented Markle’s complexion, he warned that Kate, who is the same age as her in-law, may face challenges with her skin as she ages. “She has the English rose complexion but needs to be careful and protect her delicate skin as she ages,” he noted.
