Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s style couldn’t be more different from one another.

While at the Wimbledon, the Duchess of Sussex once again showed signs that she’s a rule breaker. Middleton, on the other hand, proved that she knows how to follow proper etiquette.

During her interview with Express, fashion stylist Melita Latham differentiated Markle and Middleton’s attire. While at the event, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a bottle green dress and Markle went for a pleated floral skirt and a white long-sleeved polo shirt.

On the second day of the event, Markle wore a white blazer and jeans, while Middleton wore a stunning light-blue dress.

“Kate clearly followed Wimbledon etiquette with her stunning Dolce and Gabanna green dress which she has previously worn for another royal duty. Kate is not afraid to recycle her outfits,” she said.

“Meghan, on the other hand, wore a blazer and jeans. This was clearly a statement that rules are for breaking, and I am here to have a good time and not worry about how the world perceives me today! Although, Meghan still looks classy in whatever she wears,” she said.

Markle and Middleton also went to their husbands’ polo at a charity match weeks ago. While there, the Duchess of Sussex wore an oversized olive-green dress. Middleton, on the other hand, wore a red dress.

Latham said that it was evident that Prince Harry’s wife dressed down for the outing, but she also managed to make a statement with her attire. The fashion stylist said that Markle’s clothes at that time proved that her son, Archie, who was with her, was her number one priority.

At the end of the day, Markle opted for something more comfortable to wear while still making sure that she looked nice and presentable. Latham said that Middleton also had an equally relaxed approach at the polo match. However, it is very rare for the Duchess of Cambridge to let her hair down in public.
