Melania Trump supported her husband, President Donald Trump, when he decided to join politics.

A new book about the First Lady of the United States entitled “The Art Of Her Deal” written by Mary Jordan was released on Tuesday. In the book, Jordan shared new details about Melania that many people don’t know, especially when her husband decided to run for president.

“A common narrative about Melania is that she simply wanted to marry a wealthy man, and that she was horrified when Trump entered politics in 2015 and disrupted her comfortable world,” Jordan wrote.

“But there is ample evidence that from the very beginning, Melania not only accepted and embraced Trump’s political aspirations but was also an encouraging partner.”

Melania did not deny that she was part of the POTUS’ political journey even if she was not there during his campaign. In a previous interview, she said she supported Trump 100% and admitted that she encouraged him to run for president.

“We discussed a lot, yes. And I encouraged him,” Melania said.

“I encouraged him because I know what he will do and what he can do for America. He loves the American people and he wants to help them. I see the connection with the American people and my husband and he created a movement, and the crowd and the people that are behind him, it’s unbelievable to see.”

When Trump’s “Access Hollywood” tape leaked, the POTUS was reportedly too frightened to face his wife. It took two hours for Trump to step into the elevator and go to Melania.

Melania did’t yell at him but only told her husband that he jeopardized their chance at the White House. She also refused to listen to Trump’s aides on what she should do following the scandal.

Initially, they advised Melania to appear on TV with her husband. They also encouraged the FLOTUS and the First Daughter, Ivanka, to speak about how Trump respects women. But the First Lady turned down the suggestion.

Contrary to what many believe, Melania is very influential in the White House. “Melania is very behind-the-scenes but unbelievably influential,” said Sean Spicer, the president’s first White House press secretary.
