Oprah Winfrey seemingly has a lot to look forward to in the coming year. Ranging from a new nationwide tour in 2020 to bringing back her beloved book club, the mogul continues to stay busy. Through most of her career, her partner, Stedman Graham, has been by her side. Now the former "Oprah Winfrey Show" host is revealing the things she believes could have led to their downfall had they occurred.

Winfrey revealed to People that she harbors no feeling of regret when it comes to her decision not to marry Graham or have children with him. She even went so far as to say she believes there could have been negative outcomes had they made those decisions in the past.

"Both he and I say, 'If we had married, we would not be together,'" she said, adding, "No question about it - we would not stay married, because of what that would have meant to him, and I would have had my own ideas about it."

As for what the "Super Soul Sunday" host meant by that, she shared that she feels he is a "traditional guy," which would have placed different expectations on their "untraditional relationship."

"If it remained a relationship, I can manage it. If I become the wife, now I've got to play by the rules of whatever that is, and that would not have been pretty," she concluded.

Her feelings about marriage and children were not the only revelations made recently by the "The Path Made Clear" author. She also revealed to People that she sees swearing off producing sensationalist TV in 1989 as a turning point in her career, sharing that she believes if she hadn't made such a drastic choice that she "would have been out of television much sooner."
