Prince Harry was rumored to have a love child before his royal wedding with Meghan Markle.

A year ago, just two months before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot, Globe published a report claiming that Prince Harry fathered a 3-year-old son. The royal scandal erupted after Kensington Palace allegedly received “a handwritten note and a photo, along with a letter from an attorney representing the sender.”

The tabloid didn’t name the woman, but a so-called source said that the picture indicated that Prince Harry’s child inherited his ginger-blond hair. The report further claimed that the kid looked remarkably like Prince William’s brother. The publication added that Markle was “jolted” and Prince Harry was “rocked” when the news leaked.

“The palace is reeling and Harry can't believe this is happening,” the so-called insider continued. “Everyone's focused with keeping this under wraps and ensuring the royal wedding isn't disrupted.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report, confirming that Prince Harry has no love child. The outlet added that the photo cover where Markle looked upset was not taken from real life. It was actually from a scene on her former TV show, “Suits.”

Currently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are waiting for the arrival of their firstborn. Markle is due to give birth in a few weeks, and the newest member of the royal family might arrive at the end of April or early May.

Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly excited to raise their baby in Windsor. The couple already gave up their country home in Cotswolds and will be residing in Frogmore Cottage. They will be moving there at the end of the month, before their baby’s arrival.

An insider said that the soon-to-be parents are looking forward to raising their child in their new home. Moving to Windsor wasn’t part of their original plans, but both were reportedly very excited when it became one of their options.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle reportedly asked Queen Elizabeth II for total freedom following their split from Prince William and Kate Middleton. However, Her Majesty vetoed their request because of Markle’s celebrity status and because the Queen believes that they need to work together as a team. Whatever the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do, it should be in compliance with the monarch’s rules.
