Quarterback issues surround the Baltimore Ravens (3-7) and Cleveland Browns (2-8) as they prepare for an AFC North showdown in Cleveland on "Monday Night Football" in Week 12. The Browns are looking to end a five-game losing skid as the Ravens adjust to life without Joe Flacco.

Johnny Manziel was handed the starting quarterback job but had it taken away due to his latest off-field incident. Head coach Mike Pettine has tapped Josh McCown to take over the role under center while Manziel has been placed in the third-string role. McCown last played Week 8 versus Arizona, throwing for 211 yards and three scores. He made the start in Week 5 at Baltimore and threw for 457 yards and two scores in a 33-30 overtime win.

The Ravens rank No. 24 against the pass (257 yards per game) but held the Rams to 131 passing yards last week on top of forcing four turnovers. Baltimore allows just 97 rush yards per game and faces a Cleveland running attack that managed just 15 yards on 14 carries in their last game after gaining 69 yards the week before.

With Flacco under center, Baltimore ranked No. 10 in total offense (364.3 yards per game) but whether that keeps up is anyone’s guess. Veteran Matt Schaub gets the nod in place of Flacco, who is missing time for the first time in his career. The Ravens will also be without Justin Forsett, who broke both bones in his forearm last week and will be replaced by rookie Javorius Allen. Allen rushed for 67 yards on 22 carries last week and will head a running attack that hasn’t managed a hundred yards in any game since the last time these two teams met in Week 5.

Cleveland ranks No. 26 against the pass (268.5 yards per game) but allowed the Steelers to throw for 399 and three scores in their last game. In total, the Browns have allowed 10 passing touchdowns over their last three games.

Betting Odds: Cleveland -3.5

Prediction: McCown was able to tear apart the Baltimore secondary earlier in the season. This time around, Baltimore has a backup quarterback and running back in there and it’s hard to imagine them putting up many points in Schaub’s first action.

Predicted Score: Browns over Ravens, 23-17.
