Dixie and Charli D’Amelio opened up about the transition in their life from being regular girls to becoming popular content creators on TikTok.

Charli, 17, and Dixie, 20, were regular high school and college-going girls until they rose to fame in 2019. Currently, Charli's has 120 million followers on TikTok whereas Dixie has 52 million followers on the video-sharing app.

"I think it’s a difficult adjustment to make," Charli told The Post Monday. "When you’re going from being in high school and only having to worry about who your friends are, to now having people watch every minuscule mistake you make . . . I don’t think I’m the type of person who has the perfect personality for it."

Charli, who was a competitive dancer before her social media journey, noted that she is "little bit more on the shy side, and I feel that’s definitely been one of the things I have to work on — especially when it comes to meeting people who support me."

Considering Charli's achievements, in February, Jennifer Lopez wrote wonderful things about her in Time Magazine's "100 Next" list. She also appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show on NBC, "The Tonight Show."

Dixie, on the other hand, released a music track titled, "Be Happy" on Spotify. The song became popular as it garnered 70 million hits. Both the sisters appeared on "The Tonight Show" in March amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sharing her experience after becoming famous on social media Dixie said, "People who we’ve grown up talking to, our friends, treat us and see us in the exact same way. And I think that’s what’s made this transition really normal. When people ask what’s it’s really like, we’re kind of living our normal lives."

Dixie further revealed to the outlet that people asking for their interviews and photos felt like a "transition time" in her life.

"I was going to college, Charli was in high school … we were all settling down and we ramped our lives back up again but not in a negative way," she explained. "It was a refresh; we didn’t even realize we needed that until we were in LA and living and doing all of this new stuff."

On the work front, both the sisters will premiere their new eight-episode reality show series, "The D’Amelio Show" on Hulu, which is scheduled for Sept. 3.
