Caitlyn Jenner will not be returning to reality television to join the cast of “Celebrity Big Brother” amid rumors she has traveled to London to begin filming the series.

Jenner, who is no stranger to starring in a reality series, made a business trip overseas that sparked cast rumors about the upcoming season. A new report is claiming the 68-year-old may be entering the house that notably cuts stars off from the outside world and records them 24 hours a day.

An article published by Metro noted that Jenner arrived in London with Sophia Hutchins a few hours before “Celebrity Big Brother” was supposed to begin filming. “It is unclear what Caitlyn is in the UK for — but the timing has people speculating she is making a surprise entrance into the Borehamwood bungalow.”

“The theme for the new series is ‘Eye Of The Storm’ — with Channel 5 signing up celebs who have been the subject of a media storm. This would definitely apply to former Olympian Caitlyn,” the outlet stated.

However, Jenner’s rep told Gossip Cop the report claiming she has traveled to film the new season of “Celebrity Big Brother” is false. “She is there for work reasons,” the spokesperson stated.

Jenner previously told Variety that she has been secretly focused on politics. “I don’t do a lot of media. I don’t want to be seen everywhere. Today, I’m very politically involved. Nobody really knows it. I do it very quietly because I have been so criticized by the liberal side of the media,” she said during an interview.

“I can get more things done if I don’t stick my nose into everything publicly. I like going to Washington, D.C., doing what I do, but doing it quietly,” Jenner added.

Hutchins, who is also the executive director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, told the publication that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum hopes to make a difference for people in the transgender community.

“Coming from a reality show, where every detail of your life is documented, to not seeking any press is kind of a big change. Caitlyn is not working on these issues for press attention,” she explained.

While Jenner isn’t opposed to returning to reality television, her motives are for political reasons as opposed to gaining attention.
