Amid Felicity Huffman’s involvement in the college cheating scandal, divorce rumors between her and her husband, William H. Macy, have been circulating.

The National Enquirer reported that that Macy is “set to walk out” on Huffman, but the rumors of their split are unfounded. Macy has been by Huffman’s side throughout the entire scandal, offering his support as she appeared in court and pleaded guilty to the charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

The tabloid report goes on to say that Macy “likely won’t be there for her” if Huffman gets sentenced to time behind bars. Huffman is facing up to four to 10 months in prison for the alleged crime.

Macy and Huffman have been married for more than 20 years, and it is clear that he is standing by his wife throughout the case. Macy is maintaining a “united” front with Huffman, People reported, and has been seen holding his wife’s hand as they enter the courtroom together.

Macy was also recently spotted out, running errands at the local home improvement store just a day after Huffman released a statement that she was pleading guilty for her part in the college entrance exam scandal. This was the first time that Macy was seen in public since the guilty plea.

In her statement, Huffman also apologized to her family for the incident, saying that “I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.”

Huffman has pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to allow her daughter to have an unlimited amount of time to take the SAT.
