An elderly Uber driver got into a difficult situation after a male passenger stripped and touched himself while sitting beside him during a ride in San Francisco on Wednesday.

Speaking to Fox owned-and-operated television station KTVU, 64-year-old Dong Hwang, a Korean immigrant, said he was driving for Uber and Lyft since March. However, what happened on Wednesday night has left him confused and concerned.

Describing what exactly happened, Hwang’s daughter Ion said her father picked up a passenger around 2.45 a.m. local time (5.45 a.m. EDT) following which the passenger started undressing.

"He started changing in the back seat. Then he ended up undressing himself. He climbed to the front passenger seat. He basically started touching himself," Ion said.

Fearing he would face consequence with Uber if he canceled the ride, Hwang continued to drive the passenger to his destination. "I smile because if I angry, he more angry," said Hwang.

The father-daughter duo also shared the dashcam footage of the incident with the television station. They said this wasn’t the first time the driver faced safety issues.

Last month, Hwang picked up a Lyft passenger and was driving her to her destination when she threw up inside the car. Hwang pulled over and got out of the vehicle to take photos of his car as proof for Lyft about what happened. Suddenly, the passenger punched him several times in the head.

Speaking about the fact that drivers too are exposed to potentially dangerous situations, Ion said, "Often times, people are focussed on the passenger safety but people have to realize the drivers are the also the same people the passengers are.”

However, despite the incidents, Hwang continues to work with Uber and Lyft. Meanwhile, both the companies confirmed that they have banned the two passengers involved in the incidents.
