“Saturday Night Live” kicked off the night by poking fun at the revelations surrounding the Facebook Whistleblower testimony earlier in the week.

The episode was hosted by reality star Kim Kardashian and featured musical guest Hasley.

Check out are some of the notable sketches from the second episode of “SNL” Season 47.

Cold Open

The opening sketch of the iconic NBC comedy sketch show mocked the Facebook hearings in Congress and how the senators questioning the big tech company were oblivious to the real issues at hand.

Instead, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (Aidy Bryant) was more concerned about stopping the misinformation about him on the platform, specifically people bashing him.

Heidi Gardner, who portrayed Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen explained, “Ted Cruz sucks isn’t really misinformation -- it’s just one person’s opinion.”

“Well, more than one person’s opinion,” Cruz quipped.

While the former Republican presidential candidate was also curious about whether the dark web was the same as Black Twitter, he wasn’t the only politician with questions. Many required clarification on a variety of memes and made a couple of references to the Netflix series “Squid Game.”

Castmember Pete Davidson also appeared as "Tom from MySpace" to remind everyone of simpler times when social media lacked “weird algorithm stuff.”

Opening Monologue

Kardashian kicked off her first time hosting “SNL” by using her monologue to poke fun at a variety of topics including, her sex tape, divorce from Kanye West, O.J. Simpson, and more.

“I married the best rapper of all time,” the reality star said. Kardashian, 40, filed for divorce from the West in February after six years of marriage.

“A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorce him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: His personality.”

She also touched on late father Robert Kardashian’s law career and friendship with Simpson, a former NFL player and actor who faced a high-profile murder case after the deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

“My father was and is still such an influence and inspiration to me, and I credit him with really opening up my eyes to racial injustice,” Kim Kardashian said.

“It’s because of him that I met my first Black person. Want to take a stab in the dark at who it was?”

She added, “I know it’s sort of weird to remember the first Black person you met, but O.J. does leave a mark. Or several! Or none at all. I still don’t know.”

Weekend Update

The show continued its coverage on the week’s social media news and revisited the Facebook whistleblower report. “Internal documents show that Facebook knew their platform was used to spread hate and disinformation, but they hid the evidence,” said Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost.

The revelation resulted in Jost reflecting on his time enrolled in Harvard University with the CEO of Facebook.

“Now the weird thing is, I went to school with Mark Zuckerberg, and I was there when he created Facebook, and I feel terrible,” Jost said.

“Sometimes I wish I had a time machine so I can go back to college and find Mark and say, ‘Hey man, can I be part of your company?'”

Meanwhile, co-anchor Michael Che touched on the social media outages that took place earlier in the week.

“This week Instagram was down for an entire day, forcing many Instagram addicts to fill their time with Twitter, TikTok or hosting ‘SNL,’” Che joked as a photo Kardashian appeared on the screen.

Actor Rami Malek will host the next episode of “Saturday Night Live” with Young Thug as the musical guest.
