“My Big Fat Fabulous Life” star Whitney Thore shocked fans last week when she announced her pregnancy on the TLC reality show, but things aren’t going to be easy for her and ex-boyfriend Lennie Alehat. The body-positive activist took to Instagram Tuesday to update fans on her pregnancy.

“I want to say thanks for everyone being really sweet and supportive of me,” Thore, who suffers from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), said. “It’s going to be a hard few weeks.” Even though she wanted to explain more about her situation, Thore cannot talk about the series and her pregnancy because of contractual obligations with TLC.

The 32-year-old started the post by telling people how they could watch the first episode of Season 4. “Hey y'all. If you missed the first episode of #MyBigFatFabLife you can go to TLCgo.com to catch up before the new episode tonight at 9,” she wrote. “I'm really grateful for all of your kindness and support and as soon as I can answer questions and talk about it, I will.”

The star of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” confirmed her pregnancy Jan. 25. “Hey, guys. I just want to say thank you for all the congratulations and well wishes and everything that I got tonight,” Thore told her fans. “It was really nice and I wish that I could answer your questions and talk more about it. But I can’t until next week, because I’m under a contract so I can’t. But anyway, thank you guys and I love you. I’ll see you next week. Bye.”

Some are skeptical of Thore’s pregnancy since having PCOS makes it difficult to conceive. It’s not impossible, but most women have to try to become pregnant or undergo fertility treatments.

To find out what happens on the next on “My Big Fat Fabulous Life,” don’t miss the reality show when it airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
