Meghan Markle is rumored to be relocating in London, which makes it easier for her to spend time with her boyfriend, Prince Harry.

Supporters of the couple couldn’t help but wonder if the two will be celebrating Christmas together this year. According to People, if Markle and Prince Harry will be seeing each other on Dec. 25, it’s possible that the “Suits” actress could be also be meeting the rest of Prince Harry’s family.

The publication noted that Prince Harry usually celebrates the holidays with his dad, Prince Charles, grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, brother, Prince William, sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, nephew, Prince Charles, and niece, Princess Charlotte at the queen’s Sandringham estate.

Prince Harry’s holiday tradition also includes exchanging presents with his family on Christmas Eve and enjoying a hefty lunch on Christmas Day. The entire clan also heads to church for their annual Christmas service.

But as of late, it is still unclear whether or not Markle will be invited to the family’s celebration because Middleton didn’t get invited to it in 2010 despite Prince William already announcing their engagement. The couple tied the knot in April 2011.

Markle and Prince Harry have only been dating for over a year. Even though multiple reports claimed that they are already engaged, the palace hasn’t made an official announcement yet. This could suggest that even though Markle will be in London during the holidays, she may not be invited to Prince Harry’s family’s celebration. However, she and her boyfriend could still see each other.

“Majesty” managing editor and royalty expert Joe Little told People that his “gut feeling” tells him the actress won’t be invited. “I really don’t think it will happen. Kate didn’t go under the same circumstances,” he said. Little added that even though Prince Harry could give Markle an engagement ring before Christmas, it seems that Markle still won’t be invited to their Christmas Day celebration just like what happened with Middleton.

“There are some patterns that they seem to follow and I’m inclined to think this is one of those,” he said.
