He left Genoa City claiming he needed time away to process Chloe’s death, while really joining her in Louisiana after she faked a suicide. But now, as Kevin starts getting anxious about the situation they are both currently in, concerns for his own safety will start to grow back home on the Monday, July 3 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) discovered Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) after she seemed to die by overdosing on pills, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was a mess on the CBS soap. He was devastated that the woman he loved, and the mother of his child, could be gone. However, when he went to say a private goodbye to her at her funeral, he was stunned when her coffin opened, and she revealed to him that she was actually alive and had faked the death so Chelsea would stop looking for her and no longer seek answers about Adam’s death.

Since then, Kevin followed Chloe to Louisiana after telling everyone he needed to leave Genoa City for a while to get ahold of his feelings. The two have remained at the home of the doctor Victor (Eric Braden) hired to keep an eye on Chloe the entire time. But now, after weeks of staying there and nothing happening or changing, Kevin will start to get restless, and demand he and Chloe finally escape to start their lives together.

“We have to get the hell out of here,” he says in a preview clip. “Now.”

Kevin is getting restless with the situation because he doesn’t like how Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) makes them stay cooped up in the house at all times, especially when he isn’t around. He wants them away from the man, who seems to be too attached to Chloe, and he wants the life he and Chloe and once hoped to have with their daughter Bella. He will decide that the time has come for him to take action, and he will fill Chloe in on his plans.

Kevin will convince Dr. Harris that he is going back to Genoa City to get his daughter and bring her to be with them as well, and may be surprised when the plan is agreed to. What he doesn’t know however, is that Dr. Harris actually has plans for him, and doesn’t intend for him to come back to the house ever again.

As Kevin potentially races off on a mission that could turn exceedingly dangerous for him, his loved ones back home in Genoa City are beginning to worry and wonder why he hasn’t checked in with them recently, and why he’s still gone. They expected he’d be gone a few weeks, but it has seemed far too long for comfort now. As a result, they will wonder if they should try to find out where he is, so they can make sure he’s okay.

“Kevin has been gone a little too long, and I just can’t help thinking that something isn’t right,” Paul (Doug Davidson) says to Scott (Daniel Hall) in the clip.
