The Philadelphia Eagles have bye on Wild-Card Weekend and don't yet know the identity of their first playoff opponent. The Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks all have a chance to visit Philadelphia in the divisional round.

The Wild-Card Weekend results will determine the first opponent on the Eagles' playoff schedule. As the No. 1 seed in the NFC, Philadelphia will host the lowest seed that wins its wild-card game.

The Eagles could know who their first playoff opponent is by Saturday night. The 2023 NFL playoff schedule kicks off when the Seahawks visit the San Francisco 49ers Saturday afternoon. If the Seahawks beat the 49ers, Seattle clinches a second-round matchup with Philadelphia.

Seattle is the most unlikely of the four possible opponents to take on Philadelphia. The Seahawks are 9.5-point underdogs on Wild-Card Weekend.

If the Seahawks lose, the Giants can secure a divisional round game with the Eagles by defeating the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota hosts New York at 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday in their wild-card game. The Vikings are only favored by a field goal over the Giants, and New York is a popular pick to pull off the upset.

The Cowboys and Buccaneers have the best chance to be the first team on the Eagles' playoff schedule, according to the betting odds. Dallas is a slight road favorite in Tampa Bay Monday night. If the Seahawks and Giants both lose, the winner between the Cowboys and Buccaneers will visit Philadelphia next.

The 49ers and Vikings aren't eligible to face the Eagles until the NFC Championship Game.

Philadelphia split its regular-season series with Dallas. Neither matchup featured both starting quarterbacks. The Eagles beat Cooper Rush and the Cowboys 26-17 in Week 6. In Week 16, Dallas bested Philadelphia 40-34 when Gardner Minshew started in place of an injured Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles lost both games that Hurts missed because of a shoulder injury. The MVP candidate returned in a 22-16 Week 18 win over the Giants that secured the No. 1 seed

Daniel Jones didn't play in the season finale against Philadelphia because New York was locked into the No. 6 seed. When Jones and the rest of the Giants' regular starters played in Week 14, Philadelphia blew out New York 48-22 at MetLife Stadium.

The Buccaneers eliminated the Eagles from last year's playoffs with a 31-15 win on Wild-Card Weekend. Hurts threw a pair of interceptions in the loss.

When the Eagles last were the NFC's No. 1 seed in the 2017 season, Philadelphia went on to win the Super Bowl.
