‘Empire’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 13 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘The Tameness of a Wolf’? [VIDEO]

Camilla (Naomi Campbell) learned a fatal lesson that it might not be a good idea to shake things up in the Lyon’s den in episode 12 of Fox’s “Empire” Season 2. Now that it seems like she’s out of the picture, the family feud for who will rule Empire is expected to resume in episode 13 as Lucious looks to take back his position of CEO. He could try to push Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) out of the spot in episode 13, titled “The Tameness of a Wolf.”

According to the synopsis, “family tensions will rise” when Lucious makes his music video for “Boom Boom Boom.” The theme of the video is based off of “Richard II,” which is a subliminal message to Hakeem that he intends on taking back what is his. However, while directing the video, Lucious will be reminded of a “traumatic interaction with his mother.” Cookie will then push for Lucious to tell the story about his mother to get it off his chest.

In the middle of family drama, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) will get ready to celebrate her birthday. The promo video for episode 13 shows the family getting ready to celebrate and all she asks for is a dinner with no drama between them. Unfortunately for Cookie, it looks like her wish won’t come true.

Lucious will try to blame the death of Camilla on Hakeem, which will add more fuel to his youngest son’s hatred. Meanwhile, Lucious and Camilla won’t be Hakeem’s only problem he has to deal with. Hakeem’s girlfriend Laura (Jamila Velazquez) will get ready to head out on tour with Tiana (Serayah). Before they do, the two singers will get into a feud with one another over the “spotlight.” Hakeem will have to step in and fix the dispute between his current girlfriend and ex.

While Hakeem’s relationship will be front and center in episode 13, another couple could be coming back together. The promo video teases Cookie once again falling for Lucious. Jamal calls her out on it and she tells him, “what me and your father got is very deep,” as she’s shown holding hands with her ex-husband. Could the Lyon family really be coming back together?
