International fashion retailers and high-end luxury brands across the globe have joined hands to raise HIV/AIDS awareness on the occasion of the World AIDS Day which falls on Dec.1.

More than 2.7 million cases are detected every year and around 2 million deaths occur annually due to AIDS. To raise money and fight this hazardous condition, the fashion world has come up with a number of intriguing and alluring collections.

One such interesting collaboration is between designer Isabel Marant and American retail brand Gap Inc. This unique fashion union has resulted in the creation of an exclusive printed T-shirt. Proceeds from this will go to the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.

The collaboration between A|X Armani Exchange and a non-profit organization, dance4life, has led to the release of a T-shirt featuring a photo of model Doutzen Kroes. Proceeds from the sales will go to support dance4life initiatives like educating young people about HIV through dance and other performing arts.

Designer brand Maison Martin Margiela's latest installment of their annual World AIDS day T-shirt is yet another limited edition creation that has garnered attention globally.

Besides this, Nike has also come up with a Nike (RED) x World AIDS Day collection that has hit select stores on World AID's Day.
