Ford Motors will debut its midsized compact car at the Detroit auto show in January.

The North American International Auto Show runs January 15 - 23 in Detroit.

The carmaker says that the fresh auto will be fabricated in Louisville, Kentucky, while the German manufacturing plant in Saarlouis will continue the European product of the fresh Focus.

Earlier, on Friday, the carmaker said Ford Motors will invest $600 million to transform its Louisville Assembly Plant into a state-of-the-art facility to build the next-generation vehicles and create 1,800 new jobs, the carmaker said in a statement.
