Richard Huckle, the notorious pedophile who was responsible for sexually abusing close to 200 children, was found dead inside his cell at HM Prison at Full Sutton.

A Report from The Sun suggested that the 33-year-old sex offender might have “stabbed to death with a makeshift blade” although authorities have yet to found the weapon.

BBC meanwhile said that Huckle was attacked and killed Sunday. Police were alerted about the incident around 12:30 p.m. w here they immediately launched an investigation due to “suspicious” motives.

From 2005 to 2006, Huckle traveled to Malaysia where he posed as a “practicing Christian” and helped in the church and community. He also worked as a freelance photographer during his time at Kuala Lumpur.

Huckle boasted about his atrocities online. In one post, he said that “impoverished kids are definitely much easier to seduce.”

He was also proud when he said that he had “hit the jackpot” after making friends with a three-year-old girl who became loyal to him like a dog and “nobody seemed to care.”

At one point, Huckle even awarded himself with “points” on how he abused children, uploaded and sold his sexual exploits on the dark web and even authored a 60-page “pedo-guide” entitled Pedophile & Poverty: Child Lover Guide.

Huckle was first arrested on December 19, 2014 at Gatwick Airport by the Natioanl Crime Agency after they were tipped earlier by Task Force Argos, a branch of the Queesland Police Service that investigates online child exploitation and abuse.

It was here that Task Force Agros identified Huckle through The Love Zone, a dark web created by and for pedophiles. Huckle confessed to his parents about the allegations, and they refused to allow him to stay with them.

He was arrested again under 91 counts, including, among others, the creation and possession of child pornography, child abuse and rape of a child under the age of 12.

It was reported that Huckle abused up to 200 boys and girls, including a six-month-old baby during his stay in Malaysia.

In a preliminary hearing on April 2016, Huckle pleaded guilty in 71 of the 91 charges against him. Prosecutors also discovered 29 victims and over 200,000 photos in his laptop.

“You may well harbour feelings of regret but there is no feeling of genuine remorse in this case,” said Judge Peter Rock in line with sentencing Huckle with 22 life sentences with a minimum prison term of 25 years before he can apply for parole.

The judge also condemned Huckle's actions when he said that the suspect “carried out a campaign of rape and was driven by his own sexual gratification.”
