  • Meghan McCain slammed for criticizing Melania and Ivanka Trump
  •  Donald Trump allegedly bullied Greta Thunberg
  • Melania Trump criticized for her husband's actions

Meghan McCain’s criticisms against Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump have backfired.

“The View” co-host lashed out at the first lady and first daughter for their shortcomings in controlling President Donald Trump. She also attacked Melania’s “Be Best” anti-bullying campaign because the latter did not do anything about Donald’s remarks against Rep. Debbie Dingell at a rally.

The POTUS said that the representative should have voted against impeachment because he authorized full funeral honors for her husband Congressman John Dingell in February. McCain reacted and said that she doesn’t want to hear anything from Melania and Ivanka until they get Donald in line. She also called them “complicit” like the POTUS.

Twitter users did not like McCain’s statement against the president’s wife and daughter. McCain’s statement only backfired because it sparked fury against her.

“Is there a more bitter, jealous, and envious person than Meghan McCain?” Wayne Dupree, a political commentator, wrote on Twitter.

@MeghanMcCain truly needs therapy. Sad,” another commented.

“Nope ! She's also extremely immature and lost,” a different user opined.

McCain’s statement against Melania was not the first time the FLOTUS was attacked due to her husband’s actions. A week ago, the president was also in hot water after he allegedly bullied Greta Thunberg after Time Magazine named the 16-year-old activist “Person of the Year.”

Trump said that Thunberg should work on her anger management problem. Many were offended by the POTUS’ statement. And they were all the more furious because Melania didn’t do anything to defend the teenager from her husband’s attack despite her anti-bullying “Be Best” campaign.

Several Twitter users said that they were waiting for Melania to release a statement for Greta. Unfortunately, they were furious when Melania’s spokesperson said that Donald’s attack to Thunberg was not equatable to the mention of Barron’s name because Thunberg is an activist, so it was just “fair game.”

Melania was also mocked after Michelle Obama shared words of encouragement to Thunberg. Some even sarcastically encouraged the FLOTUS to plagiarize Michelle’s statement again.
