Prince Harry’s exes Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas saw what Meghan Markle refused to see.

Prior to dating and marrying Markle, Prince Harry had an on-again, off-again relationship with Davy. After Davy, the Duke of Sussex was with Bonas. Apparently, those relationships did not end up in marriage and Prince Harry has now married Markle.

According to Express, Prince Harry’s exes saw what was coming if they would marry the royal prince, which apparently Markle refused to see. Many thought that Prince Harry would end up with Davy, but she broke his heart when she decided to move on because she couldn’t live the life expected from her as a royal bride.

“It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope,” Davy said about the media scrutiny she experienced while dating Prince Harry.

Davy explained that at the time, she was trying to be a normal kid and the unwanted media attention was horrible. “It was nuts,” she said before adding that she wanted to fly back to Africa. Following their split, Davy found everything to be “calm” and “fine.”

After Davy and before Markle, Prince Harry was with Bonas. Royal biographer Chris Hutchins deemed the model-actress the “most suitable person” for Prince William’s younger brother. Hutchins said it because he knew that she loved him not because he was the Queen’s grandson. Bonas herself comes from a very grand ancestry. They broke up because she didn’t want to be a princess.

Also, Bonas didn’t like the press. According to Katie Nicholl, Prince Harry tried to convince Bonas that they could make things work, but she was already decided. She did not want to be part of the royal family.

“He was in love with her and he tried to convince her they could make it work, but Cressida’s mind was made up,” Katie Nicholl wrote in “Harry: Life, Loss and Love.”

“She called the relationship off because she knew in her heart this wasn’t what she wanted. Harry suffered a real blow when she said, ‘I can’t do this’. I think she really broke his heart.”

Markle was warned by her friend and former agent Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne what she would lose if she would marry Prince Harry. However, the former actress reportedly refused to hear the negativity.
