The chihuahua defended its owner from kidnappers by continuously barking at them. The canine was severely injured after kidnappers kicked it several times.

The boy was given 12 anti-venom shots and was expected to make a full recovery.

Police said the accused tortured the victim before killing her with a dagger while she was asleep. He then dumped her body in a canal.

The infant’s parents and grandmother were busy with household chores when the dog entered the home and took the baby away.

Alana Cutland, a Cambridge University student, was returning from a remote region in northern Madagascar when she overpowered a co-passenger and jumped from the aircraft on July 25.

In the video, one of the groomers can be seen holding the dog's ears before shaking its head violently. She repeatedly slams the dog onto the table and at one point the canine loses its consciousness.

“Absolutely the most foul thing I have ever experienced on a flight. I sat next to this kid, and midway through the flight he starts openly masturbating next to us," a co-passenger wrote on Twitter.

Police responded to the accused's home after receiving a complaint of child pornography. Upon arrival, the officers searched the man’s phone and found photos depicting “prepubescent children in a state of nudity and performing sex acts.”

Police found the headless body of the victim in the bathroom. The officers noticed stab and gunshot wounds in the victim’s body and went on to find bullet fragments and a butcher knife from the scene.

The man said his second wife recently left him and he believed his son and daughter-in-law were responsible for it. He said his son, with his first wife, and daughter-in-law purposely argued with his second wife frequently.

The owner of the unleashed dog did not make an effort to catch the canine. A while later, he put the dog on leash and walked away.

The owner was entering her home from work in the dark and did not notice the copperhead snake lurking near the door. However, her pet dog saw the reptile and immediately sprung to action in order to protect her.

“The professional and well-trained crew delivered the women according to procedures and took good care of the baby until the plane landed," the airline said in a statement.

"To whomever loves dogs. She’s an amazing dog. House trained. Aug. 12 she’ll be 3 years. Human friendly. Dog friendly. All shots and a sweet heart. Her name is Annabell. Couldn’t afford her. Please help,” the note attached to the dog's collar read.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the traveler walking in front of the airport’s passenger terminal when flames emerge from the lower portion of the backpack. The woman immediately runs and throws the bag on the ground.

“We want to find him first and ask him why he ate that cat. We don’t know why he ate the cat, whether it’s because he’s mentally challenged or not. But we have not been able to find the man everywhere we looked,” police said.

Officials said the adult female bear was with its cubs when it encountered the dog. Post the attack, a resident of the area fired in the direction of the bear, but the animal was not seriously injured.

Vets said the dog’s jaw and tongue were damaged by the bullet. However, they said the canine was recovering and was responding to the treatment.

Officials said CCTV footage showed the teen feeding the cats to a pack of dogs. They said the suspect will be charged with animal cruelty.

“The victim suffered injuries below the right eye, on the right and left hand and the left side of the forehead," police said.

Officials said the canine died of heatstroke after being left outside for several hours without water or shade.

CCTV footage showed the girl chasing her mother with a knife on the streets.

"From the officer's body-worn camera it shows the dog barking at the officer, presenting aggressively, coming towards the officer and the officer firing shots at the dog as it's coming towards him," police said.

Police said the villagers dragged the victims out of their homes and attacked them with sticks. All the four, including two women, died on the spot.
