‘Snowdrop’ Starring Blackpink’s Jisoo Trends On Twitter After Surprise Kissing Scene [Video]

Despite receiving flak from concerned citizens regarding the show’s historical references, “Snowdrop” continues to thrill its loyal viewers who took to Twitter on Tuesday to react to a surprise kissing scene between Blackpink’s Jisoo and her leading man, Jung Hae-In.

The topic #SnowdropEp11 was trending Monday following the romantic scene between the secret lovers Young Ro (Jisoo) and Suho (Jung).

In the said episode, Young Ro and Suho find a quiet moment together inside a neglected room in the women’s dormitory where Young Ro treated Suho’s wounds after evading authorities who were pursuing street protesters.

The episode was aired Sunday on JTBC network in Korea and on Monday on Disney+. In the still photo shared by Soompi, the pair stares intently at each other as Suho, a North Korean spy, touches Young Ro’s face.

Fans immediately took to Twitter to express their excitement as the two characters locked lips for the first time in the drama.

“Jisoo Jung Haein’s ‘Deep Kissing Scene' that made even people who didn't watch 'Snowdrop' click on it (Video) The video became a hot topic after the broadcast, and it is getting a hot response even from those who do not watch #SnowdropEp11,” user @Global Jisoo said.

Another user revealed her desire for the pair’s kissing scene to be more intense saying, “its not that deep we want a more passionate kissss,” user @DaraJinWoo said.

One eager viewer could not get over the scene and said, “Idk how many times I've randomly opened my phone today just to end up watching this again.”

Episode 11 of “Snowdrop” rose in ratings and placed sixth in the top 10 total programs in the general programming cable TV after it received a nationwide rating of 3.017 percent on Jan. 16, Nielsen Korea said.

The score is higher by 0.417 percentage points compared to episode 10 which aired on Jan. 15.

Jisoo recently shared some snaps from the set of the highly criticized drama including photos of her co-stars.

Jisoo captioned her gallery in Korean which read "Open house day," as translated by Koreaboo.

Her photo gallery included a snap in front of the iconic stairs in the show’s women’s university.
