When TLC viewers met Brandon Scott during “My 600-Lb Life” Season 7 he was 718 pounds. However, since then, Brandon has come a long way, and according to Facebook updates, it appears he has remained committed to his weight loss journey.

Fans of the series watched Brandon, who struggled with his weight, become dependent on his girlfriend Tayler Kunce. However, he decided to fight for his life and traveled to Houston to join Dr. Nowzaradan’s weight loss program.

Unfortunately, his attempts to meet Dr. Now’s requirements weren’t easy. Brandon had a painful process as he tried to reach his goal while dealing with lymphedema. However, two months following his initial visit with Dr. Now, Brandon was able to drop enough weight to be approved for gastric bypass surgery.

By the end of his “My 600-Lb Life” episode, Brandon managed to lose an astounding 335 pounds and felt like he was getting closer to becoming the man he always wanted to be. Since his episode aired, Brandon has continued to lose weight.

Although Brandon has not revealed his exact weight since leaving the show, he appears smaller in his Facebook photos and videos. As a singer, songwriter, and music teacher, Brandon also remains active on YouTube and shares videos showing off his talent.

On April 5, Brandon revealed that Taylor surprised him with a healthy birthday treat. “I had an amazing birthday yesterday thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and thank you to my best girl @taylerrenee01,” he wrote.

“I came home from work to my room being decorated and set up for an in-home movie and picnic complete with my favorite food! (Indian Food) To top it off she had presents for me to open and made homemade low carb/sugar Buckeyes!!! 4g of Carbs (2g net) and 1g of sugar! They were just amazing! The first buckeyes I’ve had in a couple of years!”

It appears Brandon has found a way to still treat himself while maintaining a healthy diet since his time on “My 600-Lb Life.”
