Chrissy Teigen and John Legend recently took to social media and shared the heart-wrenching news of the loss of their third baby, a boy they called Jack. The model penned a lengthy message on Instagram to express her feelings. As soon as the news surfaced online, a plethora of social media users rushed to show their love and support for the couple, flooding Teigen’s social media account with condolences.

One of the social media users noted that losing a pregnancy is horrible and traumatic. The user also blasted everyone who was criticizing the couple for publicly grieving the miscarriage.

“Losing a pregnancy is a horrible, deeply traumatic thing to go through. If you’re criticizing Chrissy Teigen right now, you are [explicit], full stop,” the user commented.

“My heart right now is with @chrissyteigen. My dearest, dearest one, Jack will always be with you. And we are all by your side in this moment of darkness,” another user commented.

Several users retweeted the heart-rending pictures shared by the couple and said that they’re absolutely heartbroken by the news.

“Absolutely heartbroken for you and your family. @chrissyteigen,” @3_bukhari wrote on Twitter.

“No one should ever feel how Chrissy Teigen is feeling now. May God comfort her,” @rinoye3 wrote.

“For #JohnLegend and #ChrissyTeigen. I cannot even imagine their pain. Just tragic. May #Jack rest in peace and watch over them,” another netizen tweeted.

“I’m sending love to you and your family. I cannot imagine the devastating moments you have gone through and are going through now. May Jack be always with you, your husband and his siblings. He knows he is loved unconditionally,” @lalitaforerom wrote.

Meanwhile, some of the netizens were really angry with the trolls who were continuously trolling the couple for sharing their grief with the fans.

“Pregnancy loss is one of the most heartbreaking, isolating and emotional things a couple (or single person) can go through. Peope who shame someone because they are open about their loss or just “doing it for attention” are the scum of the earth. End rant. #ChrissyTeigen,” @mmagdal1640 wrote.

“My heart is so heavy for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. I hope the love they feel overshadows the ugliness some of y’all are showing. That they chose to give us access to their grief is a gift that we don’t remotely deserve but will give so many strength and support,” @MahoneyJenn said.

Similarly, several users shared their own miscarriage stories to extend support to the celebrity mom.

“Worst day of my life. Walking out of a hospital with an empty car seat. Walking into the house to an empty bassinet. Forever lost but never forgotten. Donovan was 1/16/2004 - 3/17/2004. The hurt never ends but neither does the love. Many blessings to you and yours,” @pfaff_brian wrote on the micro-blogging platform.

“My heart is breaking for Chrissy Teagan. My heart knows the pain of losing a baby. Almost 24 years ago I went to the hospital on Christmas night to find out my life would never be the same,” @FierceMommyof4 shared.

“I mourn for you & your family. The loss is so great & it's earth-shattering! We lost our daughter Blake unexpectedly. Went in for a check-up in the morning and everything was great and later in the day, she was gone . My heart is broken & nothing prepares you for it,” @shakuntalasmith wrote.

In her post, Teigen revealed that they were "never able to stop the bleeding and give the baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions."

“We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. To our Jack - I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you,” Teigen wrote on Instagram.
