Olivia Jade may have made a recent return to YouTube, but problems have continued to follow her since unexpectedly reappearing on the platform earlier this month.

According to Us Weekly, a new report states that the influencer is "being told by lawyers about what is off-limits to discuss on social media" regarding her parents' involvement in the ongoing college admissions scandal.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have each been accused of paying Rick Singer $500,000 so that their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, could attend the University of Southern California (USC). Subsequently, Loughlin and Giannulli were charged with mail and wire fraud, honest services mail and wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery.

"Olivia's lawyer is providing counsel as to what content and topics Olivia can safely discuss," an insider told the publication regarding her YouTube channel, adding that "staying away" from any mention of her parents' alleged actions has been advised.

Earlier reports also stated that Olivia had "followed a script" in her YouTube video posted on Dec. 1, which was her first upload on the site in nearly nine months.

Following her comeback, the YouTuber faced public backlash for making the decision to resurface in the midst of her parents' legal troubles. Eric Schiffer, a reputation and brand management expert, also shared last month that he believed her "defiant" attitude could have "catastrophic effects" on her career down the road.

It remains unclear what the future holds for all parties involved, but there is a chance that both Olivia and Isabella could be charged as defendants in the ongoing admissions scam. At this time, Loughlin and Giannulli have both pleaded not guilty ahead of their trial, but some have speculated that she may take certain steps in order to receive a lighter sentence.
