An Illinois woman is in custody after having her two children ride in an inflatable pool on the roof of her car.

Jennifer A. Janus Yeager was arrested on Tuesday after being spotted by a bystander driving around Dixon, Illinois, with her two daughters sitting in an inflated children’s pool on the roof of her Audi Q5. After the bystander called police, officers conducted a traffic stop to speak with Yeager about what was seen earlier in the day. She was taken into custody not long after.

“During the course of the investigation it was learned that Yeager drove into town to inflate the pool at a friends’ house and had her two juvenile daughters ride inside of the empty pool to hold it down on their drive home,” Dixon police said.

Dixon police also posted an image of Yeager’s car on their twitter page, with the pool still on the roof.

“Having your children sit in an inflatable pool on top of your car while driving will get you arrested,” the caption read.

Yeager was arrested on charges of endangering the health or life of a child and reckless conduct. She was booked by Dixon police and has since made bail.
