NBA on social media has been buzzing over the last 12 hours, and the main culprit is Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves.

It is because Reaves crashed into some fans who were courtside at the Arena in Los Angeles, California when the Lakers hosted the Detroit Pistons last Friday, November 18th.

So what's the big deal about a player crashing into fans courtside? That happens all the time, right?

Well, the fans that Reaves crashed into that night were a group of attractive young ladies who were watching a Lakers game.

So why is it going viral?

Because after the little interaction, Reaves appeared to have tapped into his inner-Kobe and began showing out for the ladies, as documented by a short video clip that's going around on Twitter.

The Lakers topped the Pistons 128-121 that night, and Reaves finished with 16 points, six assists, four rebounds, and one block.

For their part, the ladies looked like they were pretty impressed with what they were seeing from Reaves, who's not too bad looking himself.

In the Lakers' next game, Reaves turned it up, even more, scoring 21 points to help lead the franchise to a 123-92 win over the San Antonio Spurs—their third win in a row.

It's safe to say that Reaves has been balling out since crashing into those ladies at courtside.

All of this is of course, coincidental and merely a fun little angle to attach to the Lakers' current success and Reaves' impressive play as of late.

This season, Reaves is averaging 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while the Lakers have struggled with a 5-10 record that's good for 14th in the West.

If the Lakers don't have too much to celebrate this season, at least Reaves can look back at this incident as one of the highlights of what could be an otherwise forgettable year.
