Ohio Man Secretly Records Nude Videos Of 11-Year-Old Girl After Setting Up Phone In Victim's Bedroom

A man in Cheviot, Ohio, was arrested for secretly recording nude videos of an underage girl. The incidents took place at a home on Phoenix Avenue.

According to court records, the first incident took place on March 18. The accused, identified as David Hurt, sneaked into the 11-year-old girl’s bedroom and set up his phone in order to record the victim getting dressed after a shower. The man got a video of the girl taking off her towel and dressing after a shower. After the girl left the room, the man grabbed the device and stopped the recording.

On May 4, the man filmed her again. However, this time the girl noticed the phone. She gave the device to her mother who found a video of her daughter completely nude on the phone. She then alerted the police about it.

Following an investigation, Hurt was detained for questioning. During interrogation, the man confessed to making the videos. He was taken into custody and charged with several offenses including voyeurism and pandering obscenity involving a minor. It was not known if the accused was an acquaintance of the girl's family.

He was being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on an $800,000 bond. The accused was also ordered to not have any contact with the girl.

The incident comes a week after an Alabama woman was arrested for recording video of a man engaging in oral sex with her toddler granddaughter. Steven Anthony Jackson, 19, engaged in oral sex with the toddler while her grandmother, 42-year old Lisa Williamson, recorded the gruesome act and later streamed the video on a subscription-based pornographic portal. The man and the grandmother were taken into custody and charged.

In another incident in Hong Kong last year, an Uber driver was jailed for secretly filming upskirt videos of passengers. Wong Yiu-long’s car was stopped by police for a breathalyzer test during which the officers noticed a phone live-streaming upskirt footage of his sleeping passenger. The car was searched and two pinhole cameras were found hidden at the rear of the vehicle’s front seats. The driver was arrested and sentenced to two years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty.
