James Spader will reprise his role as Red in "The Blacklist" Season 4. NBC

“The Blacklist” Season 4 is set to premiere this month on NBC, but for those who haven’t caught up with Red (James Spader) and Liz’s (Megan Boone) story yet, you can binge-watch the latest installment when Season 3 arrives on Netflix this week.

“The Blacklist” Season 3 will be available for streaming on Netflix starting Wednesday, Sept. 7, according to Newsweek. Other shows that will also make their Netflix debut this month are “Supergirl” Season 1 (Sept. 10), “Hawaii Five-0” Season 6 (Sept. 13), “The Walking Dead” Season 6 (Sept. 15), “Penny Dreadful” Season 3 (Sept. 17), “Gotham” Season 2 (Sept. 19), “New Girl” Season 5 (Sept. 20) and “Bones” Season 11 (Sept. 22).

Meanwhile, in “The Blacklist” Season 3, Liz’s past finally caught up with her. Since the beginning of the series, the people around her have tried to protect Liz, but Red, the Post Office and Tom (Ryan Eggold) only seemed to put her life at risk. Taking drastic measures to protect her family, Liz hatched up a plan with Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) to fake her death, so she and Tom can take Agnes out of the country and away from Red, the Post Office and the danger that comes with being associated with them. However, Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) dashed her only hope of getting away when he abducted Liz, then dropped the bomb that he’s her real father.

Red, who was still grieving Liz’s loss and had no idea about her faking her death, cooked up a plan to take down Kirk that involved stealing all the money his nemesis had donated to Senator Diaz (Benito Martinez) for his presidential campaign and blackmailing the politician to stop campaigning and tell the world that Kirk is financing terrorists. After Red succeeds in framing Kirk for terrorism, he then set out to kill him to settle the score for Liz’s death, which Cooper (Harry Lennix) was on board with.

Tom helped Red with his plans to take down Kirk. But while the standoff between Red and Kirk was going down, Tom had to take care of their daughter Agnes under the watchful eye of Mr. Kaplan and her guards. However, he later managed to give her the slip and escaped with Agnes to Cuba, but instead of getting away, his trip managed to lead Kirk to his daughter and Liz.

“The Blacklist” Season 3 finale ended with Red finding out about Mr. Kaplan’s betrayal and with Liz tied up in Kirk’s lair as he reveals himself to be her father, Constantine Rosov.

NBC previously released the official synopsis for “The Blacklist” Season 4 premiere episode, which teased that Red will be on the hunt for Liz when the series returns this September. “After Liz is abducted by a man claiming to be her father, Red sets out to find her at any cost. Meanwhile, the Task Force grapples with the shocking news that Liz is still alive,” read the synopsis, via CarterMatt.
