Few days after Kendall Jenner's controversial Pepsi commercial was removed from the internet as it received criticism for its borrowed visuals from the Black Lives Matter movement, she is geared up to return to the spotlight at Coachella. Kendall Jenner will host an event for the popular dating app Bumble in the Rancho Mirage this weekend, according to TMZ.

Bumble is a social discovery app that empowers women to make the first move when it comes to dating. It is organizing a party — a place where singles can connect — with an Aspen Chic meets the Desert Heat-themed Winter Bumbleland event in Rancho Mirage this weekend.

Kendall Jenner, along with Kylie Jenner will host the Saturday's party, which will feature music from Simihaze.

The events for the party were scheduled some time back, however, the Pepsi ad controversy started giving worries to the organizers as they thought that Kendall Jenner would back out. It has been confirmed now that she will be present at the event, TMZ reported.

Following the Pepsi ad, Kendall Jenner was reported to have been devastated by the controversy surrounding it. She feared that the negative comments could damage her reputation for life long, although she was not involved with the message behind the commercial in any way. A source said: "This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with. He said: "Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face," according to reports.
