With the holidays approaching, "Fuller House" actress Lori Loughlin and her family are reportedly finding news ways to celebrate.

Earlier this year, both Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, faced new charges pertaining to the ongoing college admissions scandal. At this time, they each have been accused of paying Rick Singer $500,000 so that their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, could attend the University of Southern California (USC).

Subsequently, they were charged with mail and wire fraud, honest services mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery.

Now, a source has revealed to ET how the TV personality and her family are handling the holidays this year.

"While Lori and her family are looking forward to Christmas, it's very difficult to enjoy the season because of the upcoming trial," they stated, adding, "The outcome is looming over their family."

Continuing, the insider said that Loughlin's world has been "shaken beyond anything she could have imagined." After adding that the star is "doing her best to put on a brave face," they added that she wants "wants nothing more than to have a wonderful holiday with her family at home."

Earlier reports have given a behind-the-scenes look at how Loughlin has reportedly started preparing for her upcoming trial. After developing a new "concern" due to a judge's harsh comments and recent sentencing of another parent involved in the ongoing admissions scam, she is said to have started taking a "grueling" step.

As for Olivia Jade, the YouTuber unexpectedly returned to the streaming platform on Dec. 1. At that time, she posted a video that some believed was scripted and coached. It remains unclear whether or not she and her sisters will be charged as defendants in the future, but it has been said that her behavior in recent months could have "catastrophic" consequences on her career.

At this time, Loughlin and Giannulli have pleaded not guilty. However, some have speculated what her recommended sentence could be if she takes certain steps.
