Prince Charles ‘Worried’ And ‘Upset’ With Son Prince Harry For This Reason

Prince Charles was worried about and upset with Prince Harry’s “bad boy” behavior.

The Prince of Wales was very concerned with the Duke of Sussex’s attitude and performance in school when he was attending Eton. According to Katie Nicholl in her 2017 book “Harry: Life, Loss and Love” Prince Harry struggled in academic works unlike his big brother, Prince William.

“Charles was understandably upset and worried by the decline in Harry’s behaviour and his poor academic performance at school,” Nicholl wrote.

“Being at Eton was not as easy a ride for Harry as it was for William, and he has since revealed: ‘I didn’t enjoy school at all. I wanted to be the bad boy,’” the royal author continued.

Making matters worse, Prince Harry was involved in troubles when he was just 16. In 2011, he was caught drinking at Highgrove’s local pub and was also spotted smoking marijuana. Prince Charles went mental after learning that his son was smoking pot.

Prince Charles decided to send Prince Harry to a rehabilitation center in Featherstone Lodge, South London. The Prince of Wales ordered his youngest son to sit through therapy sessions for hard-core heroin addicts.

Prince Charles wasn’t the only person who was very concerned with Prince Harry’s misbehavior. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip were reportedly in despair when they learned about Prince Harry’s escape from an official police warning. The news sent shockwaves through the royal family especially to the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

The palace reportedly tried to bury the story, but Prince Charles’ parenting was inevitably questioned. Because of this, the future king doubted Prince Harry’s circle of friends.

Prince Harry was also involved in a string of scandals including a nude photos leak that landed on the front pages of newspapers. The scandalous images were reportedly taken when he was playing strip billiards in Las Vegas. Prince Harry was also slammed after wearing a red, white and black swastika armband that many considered a Nazi insignia.

Prince Harry is now a changed man. He is very different from the man he was before. Many believe that wife Meghan Markle has been a beautiful influence to the prince. The couple is expecting their first baby in the Spring.
